Bodegas Fernández Gasco has a long history producing its own wines. Four generations of winemakers have honed their craft over time, acquiring knowledge of how wines evolve, in order to share the pleasures of wine with everyone. Today, the whole operation is run by four brothers. But let's do a little history. Their great-grandfather started making wines in the San Asensio winery and then sold them to friends and customers in the area and, almost unconsciously, transmitted this wonderful passion to the four brother’s grandfather and also their father, who started selling the wine in many more places in the Iberian Peninsula and on a much larger scale. Today, these four brothers have managed to introduce their wines in various countries in both Europe and on the other continents, developing highly palatable young table wines.

Bodegas Fernández Gasco produces red, white and rosé wines under three different brands: “Viña Unzaga”, “Cuba Vieja” and “Don Florentino”. The facilities have large tanks for storing and later ageing and bottling the wines.

The strange thing is that the storage tanks are made of concrete and are located in the underground cellar together with the barrels. A highly skilled team of professionals with expert knowledge in each daily process are committed to providing a consistently excellent service.

In another vein, Bodegas Fernández Gasco also personalises the labels of its wines, offering clients the chance to have their serve their own wine at their restaurant, culinary association, celebration, hotel, etc.

Bodegas Fernández Gasco has stainless steel tanks equipped with cutting-edge technology and highly-qualified personnel who control its wines at all times. In addition to thorough cleaning, two oenologists control the entire process to ensure that the end result is an excellent quality wine.

In addition to stainless steel tanks, the winery is also equipped with concrete tanks that were built by our grandfather in the middle of last century. Their walls are 40 cm thick and the interiors are coated with food-grade epoxy resin. The thickness of the walls of these tanks ensures that the wine does not undergo changes in temperature, always being kept at 15°C.
